Some Eight Classes Of Punishments Meted Out To Those Going To Hell
There are diverse kinds of punishment we are told are received by the fallen souls in Hell. Satan and his allies use varieties of methods to inflict excruciating pain or punish those sinful souls sent into Hell. Today, we are going to look at eight standard methods revealed onto us in the pages of the Bible. The first one is;
- Souls Are Bound With Chains/Shackles:
We have been told by the pages of the Bible that these souls are chained up or bound in Hell, before other punishments are meted out to them. ‘After all, it is a prison, so what do you expect.
Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Matthew 22:13, NIV
- They Are Imprisoned In Dungeons:
As far as God is concerned, Hell is His place of judgment; it is His correctional center for unlawful or disobedient souls. Much in the way lawless citizens are imprisoned in any state cell, so God created this dungeon or cell to do so, to those who disobey His words or takes His word for granted.
It presupposes, that Satan and his cohorts seems to be God’s prison wardens to punish the state offenders.
Hence, it is a clear fact that they are bound in Hell like handcuffed prisoners, and then made to undergo various levels of punishment, which are according to God’s Holy Laws.
Study the following scripture;
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the (human) spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.
1 Pet. 3:18-20 NIV.
Well, this shows that God’s commandments or statutes should not be joked with, and there are dungeons or prisons made by the Almighty to correct this entire human kingdom of His creation.
You and I should not joke with Him.
- They Are Consumed In Fire, Popularly Known As ‘Hell Fire’:
Now, one of the easily identifiable ways by which souls of the disobedient or sinners are eternally punished in the dark realms of Hell, is by burning.
According to the Spirit, and of course the Bible, they are burnt from head to toe for the offences they’ve committed!
Now, when you should study the Creation, you’ll realize that Hell is like the dump site where God burns all rubbishes He’s found in the Heavens and on Earth. While Heaven and Earth are both connected as a House, Hell is seen as a Dump Site or His Incinerator, to burn down all His rubbishes, which unfortunately, does include men.
He formerly threw Satan and His cohorts into this incinerator’s flames, but now finds it a need to add men as well, because they are very disobedient, very much like all these satanic forces.
Sin makes you look like a dump good, which needs to be burnt in there.
(Hence, God had long prepared this unquenchable fire-called Creations dump site, to burn down anything that makes the ‘earth and heaven’ unclean or dirty. As you’d do, He’s just trying to tidy up is Homes. Yes, He wants the compounds clean, for habitation
You know God hates filth, right?
That is why He does that.
But don’t let Him do it to you, as He finds you as a filthy or unclean product, living in somewhere here on the Earth.
As everyone burns his collected rubbish outside his home, so God does the same to us on the earth we live on.
Now, this Fire which the Father has prepared, is said to be unquenchable, since there are many people He constantly finds unclean, and He would like to throw them into it. As rubbish comes to your home from time to time, so God knows that future rubbishes, will be found again on the Earth.
Well, sadly enough, in as much as this world has not come to an end, many will be ‘captured’ and placed in this fire by God. He just wants to get the world of impurities. (Yes, every home-owner does that, randomly). For this reason, we all have been warned.
Don’t be considered in God’s eyes as a weed, or as a littered product here.
Study this:
The Parable of the Weeds
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
“‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them (God’s patience over us). Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”
Matt. 13:24-31 NIV
The Parable of the Weeds Explained
Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
“As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom (this earth, which is according to God’s Tabernacle design) everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Matt. 13:36-40 NIV
To live or walk in evil, will render you to become an unclean thing, qualifying you enough to be sent to God’s unquenchable fire. As far as God is concerned, this is why Hell exits-His Incinerator, which is for all wasted products here on earth!
- They Are Being Eaten Up By Well-Prepared Worms As Well:
Hell has worms waited for the souls of men who have sinned against God. In every dumpsite, you’ll find worms, often eating up the crumbs that are left.
It looks like with the same ideology, God let out those worms to be there to also eat up the people up.
Actually, these worms are evil spirits or demons, fashioned in the nature of worms-I say this because I’ve seen them before, in my long years encounters of being to Hell. Satan has stationed them up within the dumpsite to eat the ‘wasted products’ up.
The scripture explains;
“Then they will go forth and look
On the corpses of the men
More Like This
Who have transgressed against Me (God).
For their worm will not die
And their fire will not be quenched;
And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind.”
Isaiah 66:24
Another one says it in this other way:
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea. If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off.
It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where
“‘the worms that eat them do not die,
and the fire is not quenched.’ (the burnt and chained are equally eaten by worms-even from the Lord’s statements).
Mark 9:42-49 NIV
Therefore, let us cast away the Spirit of Stupidity from our eyes, and let us endeavour to stay fully in God’s Great and Holy House.
- The Burnt Are Made To Thirst, And As Well Hunger:
Well-the inmates or prisoners of human jail centres are often given food and water rations, though it does not fully satisfy their souls.
However, in Hell’s quarters, our brothers and sisters do not get water and food rations at all! That is how ‘wicked’ that place is-the place of no return!
This is a prison centre that the government there (Satan), together with His prison wardens, do not care about food nor water rations, as human governments in their soul, will! Well, they are filled with joy, when you’re in much agony-but will become depressed when you should have no agony. (Satan feeds upon their agonies to survive; so why should He give Hell’s inmates food and water rations, to become satisfied?). Are there drink-up parties going on in Hell?
No.
“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades (Hell), where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus TO DIP THE TIP (JUST THE TIP) OF HIS FINGER IN WATER AND COOL my tongue, because I am in Agony in this fire.’
“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’
Luke 16:19-26 NIV
That is how it is; in Hell, there’s no mercy for the sinful inmates; Let’s endeavour to escape Hell. It’s not like what you take you know or have experienced on this earth.
- They Are Made To Live In Darkness:
Okay-so imagine yourself so hungry and thirsty, being eaten by worms, having your hands and feet tied securely up, being also put into the unstoppable furnace of fire, which is also complicated by a gloomy-darkness everywhere, while this whole setup is in a fortified prison, secured huge bars, while it is a life-sentence (eternal), would somebody consider that agony as a small thing?
Let’s not joke with Hell-so, a gloomy darkness compliments it all, according to the Bible!
The scripture testifies it in Matthew 8:11-12 NIV;
I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Beloved, let’s repent, for tomorrow might be too late!
There’s more to what to what we eat and drink, than we might have assumed!
- They Are Scared-Up By Demons:
This point is self-explanatory, because this the primary work of a demon; they are in to scare and to forever put fear in their victims.
(This is why they always come with scary faces) Satan likes to put fear or paranoia in people that He gets hold of.
He and his allies are Master-minders at this.
Well, nobody likes horror movies.
Though those are acted, these are real ones we’re talking about. Nobody likes scary pranks or being scared; But imagine such scary pranks are coming with beatings, how would you survive?
How much joy would you have left in you? Satan, and these demonic forces just want to take all the joy you have in you, so as to make your eternal soul there miserable! They can’t leave anything that is called happiness in you! (So, why we think, it was called ‘Hell, sister?)
It is self-explanatory!
- Finally, They Are Beaten Up:
If you’ve not been told, know that Satan and his forces are willing to flog or beat you up to the pulp for all your sins down here. ‘‘You’ll reap everything you’ve sown,’’ so He thinks.
Concerning flogging, our Lord Jesus had spoken directly on this; let’s hear what He said;
But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. 46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows…
Luke 12:45-47 NIV.
The place of unbelievers according to scripture, is the Place of Hell, for we know that unbelievers are going to Hell.
Conclusion:
There are a lot more that goes on in Hell, but these are frantic ones the Bible has stated. If a man rejects the cross and goes in his own way, he’ll definitely be meted out with these punishments, should he make it to hell.
We must be ‘scared’ enough, not to go there-to a condemned Cell where there’s no return, as it the current condition or fate of many of our brothers and sisters, who did not heed to God’s voice. In Hell’s pit right now, they are currently paying the price for their sins and crimes, they did through any of these methods.
We must be careful, not to be captured there, and the time for our departure from the earth is at hand, since we don’t all have a thousand years to live.
May God be with you and deliver you from this eternal place of shame, meted out with lifetime agonies.
